I grew up in a world that told me to be tough — to hide the pain, silence the fear, and survive without complaint. Poverty, fatherlessness, trauma — that was my reality.

By my teens, I’d seen the weight of mental illness in my family and felt depression pulling on me. I wore strength like armor — the protector, the athlete, the one who looked unbreakable. But inside, I was still that little boy, trying to breathe under the pressure.
​
It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I learned healing was possible.
Out of the cracks, something beautiful grew — and now I share my story so others know they can bloom too.
This ain’t therapy, but it might feel like it.
